Get behind the wheel of more than 200 cars in ENTHUSIA PROFESSIONAL RACING for the PS2 from Konami. The racing game focuses on driving skill while still giving players the option of tweaking and tuning many different factors to create the best car possible. The biggest difference between other racing games and ENTHUSIA is the Visual Gravity System (VGS). The different views of the VGS show how gravity affects the car, allowing players to see exactly how gravity plays in turns, stops, and skids. The game has several different racing modes. The main mode is called Enthusia Life. Players will enter weekly races in an attempt to win big and score points. Each race is worth a certain number of points, and making mistakes like hitting obstacles lowers the number of points received. Players can then spend the points they receive on upgrading their driver (necessary to receive more points per course), upgrading their cars, or buying new cars. In addition to mistakes, the game takes into account the car the player is using; racing underpowered cars and winning will net players more points than the faster ones will. The other game modes include time trial, versus racing, free races, and a challenge mode that requires players to drive through color-coded gates.
